A strong patient advocate, Dr. Jacob focuses on providing patients with the latest advancements in treatment, especially for ankle arthritis, pediatrics, and athletes. She also brings extensive knowledge and incomparable technique to total ankle replacement and revisional foot surgery. At Precision Foot & Ankle Center, patients can expect an excellent bedside manner and individualized treatment. Dr. Jacob, originally from Milton, Wisconsin, received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater. She continued her education at Kent State University in Cleveland, previously known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, earning her doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery. During her residency, Dr. Jacob trained extensively at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, as well as at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She now teaches surgical residents in the metropolitan Detroit area and local high school students. Following residency, Dr. Jacob trained in advanced surgical techniques, including ankle joint replacements and minimally invasive surgery. She is especially passionate about her clinical interests including: pediatrics, total ankle replacements, complex foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, new technology, ankle sprains, and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Jacob enjoys art, hiking, archery, and gardening when not caring for her patients. She shares furry children with her husband Tom. Their dogs, Pepper & Cocoa, will sometimes be in the office greeting patients and easing their anxiety.
