Dr. Jacob Abu-Aita is a Flint, Michigan native with a strong background in athletics, rehabilitation, and patient-centered healthcare. A former collegiate baseball player, he began his athletic career at Mott Community College and later finished at Oakland University, where he served as a graduate assistant for the Golden Grizzlies baseball program. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science, with a minor in Nutrition and a concentration in physical therapy, before going on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan University College of Chiropractic. Dr. Abu-Aita also completed a master’s degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, graduating with honors, as well as fellowship training through the American College of Manipulation Under Anesthesia Providers. In addition, he has completed advanced training in minor surgical procedures, further demonstrating his commitment to comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. 

During his academic career, he held several leadership and teaching roles, including Treasurer of the Student American Chiropractic Association, Head Anatomy Lab Assistant, Student Ambassador, and teaching assistant in gross anatomy and adjusting laboratories. His clinical experience includes treating athletes at the collegiate, professional, and Olympic levels, and he is recognized for a performance-based, function-focused approach to patient care. 

Dr. Abu-Aita is affiliated with Renaissance Chiropractic Spine & Injury Center and ChiroCenter in Burton, Michigan, where he emphasizes individualized treatment, functional recovery, and helping patients return to the highest possible level of performance.
